Personality Profiling and Psychometric Testing

Identifying psychological type gives a snap shot of the preferred behaviour that comes almost unconsciously to most people.

This is the behaviour that they are comfortable with and can sustain for long periods of time. People are complex and adaptable. The environment, and interaction with other people, can influence behaviour change on a regular basis. Behaviour has reasons, not causes – and when we understand the reasons why, we become increasingly empowered.

Using the personality profiling or psychometric testing can tell us how people will probably respond within their environment. It will also help with the individual’s development, choice of job role and their best fit within that environment. Personality Profiling and Psychometric Testing provides a starting point or compass to get the best out of a most expensive and valuable resource. One of the greatest benefits in using profiling is surely that of development and team working.

Our highly qualified and experienced facilitators can implement the following for you:

Herrmann International’s Whole Brain Technology

Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI®) measures thinking preference.

Herrmann International’s Whole Brain Technology® focuses on showing people how to use their entire brain—not just the parts with which they feel most comfortable. It is scientifically designed to help people learn to think better.

The underlying premise is:  if I understand how I think, I can understand and change the set of behaviours that reflect that thinking.   This is highly useful in the context of emotional intelligence – where intelligence is defined as the ability to choose the most appropriate behaviour for a particular context.

Thinking precedes behaviour so if behaviour change is required this is an ideal tool.  The HBDI® Team Profile is also hugely valuable for both the creation of specific project teams and the optimisation of existing teams.  Once people know how they think relative to others around them it is much easier to collaborate effectively. Better results through better thinking.

The HBDI® was developed by Ned Herrmann in the 1970s. Twenty years of research and innovation stand behind the validity of the HBDI®.
